Our Mission

Our mission is to support each individual on their personal journey toward growth and independence. We believe self-advocacy is an important step in reaching personal goals. Our agency empowers each person to take control of their life by helping them understand their rights, recognize their value, and know how they deserve to be treated.

Neurodiversity

Everyone’s brain develops in a unique way

The term coined by Judy Singer, refers to a range of neuro conditions, often associated with Autism, as well as; ADHD, Dyslexia, Downs Syndrome, and other intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Neurodivergent means having a brain that works differently from the average or “neurotypical” person. This may be differences in social preferences, ways of learning, ways of communicating and/or ways of perceiving the environment.

It points to the fact that every human has a unique nervous system with a unique combination of abilities, strength and needs.
